New vitreous towers
Thanks to this new technology we realize your brand tower idea at reduced expenses.
This new technology allows us to develop different shaped and sized towers, that are extremely attractive, without investing considerably in moulds. Obviously, we need the customer to give us the model to develop, or to assess together.
Plus we can meet the needs of small-scale supplies, and provide versions in any shade, including coloured chrome models, or versions with an indelible logo.
The tap can be easilyy installed on the tower, which can be configured for a brass 5/8” or ½” thread, and is extremely sturdy. The towers can also be developed for several taps, or with a frost-effect or Simil ICE effect, which is very important for energy saving, while achieving the same effect as the ICE tower.
Also our Eos tower has been realized in Vitreous chrome. This model has Led lighting for the tap knob, which can also be achie
ved on the new tower Horus.
We can also produce knobs for taps with a customised shape, colour and logo.
Vitreous is particularly environmentally friendly. Manufacturing processes use less energy than brass. No galvanic treatment or chrome plating is necessary, and PVD processes are used for gold plating, so VITREOUS is considered as inert waste at the end of its life cycle.
Vitreous towers set free your phantasy.

New tornado evolution series cooming soon
In keeping with company environmental policies, and following market trends that demand systems which are even more environmentally friendly, CELLI has restyled a system that already had good green credentials. In fact, the TORNADO range was one of the first on the market to use energy-saving components and was the first system to use R134a.
Technology however is continuously evolving and Celli is charachterized in being always at the forefront in innovation and technology so we have decided to modify one of our best products.
We increased tank insulation to reduce heat dispersion, using CO2 expanded polyurethane instead of R134a, to decrease end-of-life environmental impact. When the tank has to be disposed of, the gas in the polyurethane is dispersed into the atmosphere. We also restyled and designed a new tank drainage system, included rollers as standard on the entire range, restyled the control panel with a more stylish front panel and provided casing with integrated pump and coils. This front panel has the thermostat, on/off switch and stirrer plug, which is now more protected as it is inside the machine. The front panel has been designed for a mechanical thermostat, but can also be used with an electronic thermostat, with glycol display. The front panel has a cover inside to protect electrical parts, and in particular the electronic thermostat, from accidental splashes. This increases the life of the system and reduces the risk of electrical failure.
The main components have not changed, including the coils, to avoid problems with accessories and spare parts. Some modifications have been made to the cover, which has new holes for coil inlets and outlets. Coils can now pass through without the slot.
The standard body is still in blue SKIN PLATE. Different shades, stainless steel versions or the streamlined configuration are also available on request, for lots of at least 50 items. The streamlined series has an additional cover inside, with insulation on the tank side.
All products may be equipped with telemetry systems, on request.
The new Tornado Evolution coolers are available starting from Spring 2012.
FonteAlma gets TIFQ certification
FonteAlma is the first and only dispensing panel with a hygienic compliance’s label .
Alma adds further security and quality to Celli’s high standards by getting the hygienic compliance’s TIFQ certification for FonteAlma panel.
TIFQ is the institute for the Hygienic Quality of Food Technologies, it is a third party agency which issues Hygienic Quality Certificates.
Sustainable development award 2010
Celli and Alma get a special mention in the innovative products and services’ sector
On 4th November, Celli S.p.a. received the sustainable development award, with a special mention for its innovative services and products’ sector.
Celli received the prize at Ecomondo, the exhibition which took place in Rimini from the 3rd to the 6th of November and where all the latest developments of the Alma Water Division were introduced.
The prestigious award is one of a few Italian prizes which has not only the patronage of the President of the Republic but his adherence too: the special mention has been granted owing to the actual commitment of Alma division’s Celli S.p.a. towards the sustainability. Particularly, new technology for a total reduction of the environmental effect that has been used in the FonteAlma project and throughout the product’s life cycle. It has been taken as the reference “6R” method of Life Cycle Thinking, looking forward to completing a more detailed Life Cycle Assessment.
Drinking water’s consumption from aqueduct is the basis of the philosophy which contributed in developing Alma products, by means of prompt service’s equipment for flat water, flat cool and carbonated cool water.
FonteAlma is basically an ecological product in the sense that among the several existing systems for dispensing drinking water is the one with the lowest environmental effect. .
Compared with the bottle, it allows both saving energy and raw materials necessary to the package’s manufacture and reducing CO2 emission due to the water’s transportation from one place to another. It lets to spare the disposable packages’ removal as well, while it does help not to produce any waste.
We may well say that the technological innovation and low environmental effects are closely connected in FonteAlma .
The award has been established by the Foundation for the Sustainable Development with Ecomondo-Rimini Exhibition’s co-operation and the President of the Republic’s adhesion.
The award-winning companies have been judged according to several aspects like the environmental outcome’ efficacy, the process or the product’s innovative content, the economical results and finally, the chance of spreading the process or the product in Italy.
The categories which were judged are the following three: energy, waste, innovative products and services.
“Despite the crisis, being environmentally friendly has continued and the figures themselves confirm it: as a matter of fact, in 2009 renewable energy sources grew 11% for installed power; during the same year, the recycling industry has observed an increase with a recycling medium rate of 64%, 128 municipal districts decided to install solar panels in public buildings and green economy’s overall turnover has been estimated in 10 thousand million euros. The italian industry realized that the environmental factor is an extraordinary chance of improvement and development”.
Edo Ronchi, Sustainable Development Foundation’s President.
Energy Saving certificate and reduced CO2 Emissions
Celli certifies according to the rule UNI EN ISO 14021:2002 her products IDEAL ES, BRAVE ES and ECLIPSE ES.
Thanks to its combined experience in this field and to constant research, Celli S.p.a. has worked out a variety of technical solutions to achieve a considerable reduction in electrical consumption (in comparison with the previous models) in Energy Saving products. Performances are unchanged and even improved, while energy consumption is reduced from 25% to 50% .
The end-consumer is seeing a clear reduction in his energy bill.
In order to carry out a precise study and to allow an indipendent body’s supervision, it has taken as reference the rule ISO 14021, that is Auto-declared environmental assertions (environmental labelling II Type).
The dispensing equipment models have been well identified, as well as the commercial specifications, test methods and the data obtained. Making use of international conversion charts from kilowatt to CO2 kg, it has been possible to determine how much the greenhouse gas exactly dropped with reference to the energy mix of those countries where the equipments are sold.
The body which issued the certificate giving official acknowledgement, to the results achieved, is the organization Cermet which Celli has been working together with, for years.
Below it is possible to download the monographic issue “The new challenge: renewing in a sustainable way” published by Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor agency. On page 5 it is possible to read more about this matter and Celli’s future projects which were introduced in the convention “Innovation and environmental sustainability: new paradigms for the companies” organised by Cermet in Bologna on 22/11/2010.
